Behind The Scenes At Our Norfolk Beach Day

Country Content takes us down many paths, but the best ones lead to the beach…or they did in June anyway for our first coastal content day!

With the out-of-office switched on, car packed and a call us on our shell phone reminder…we travelled down to Norfolk for a couple of days away (we had to make the most of it, right?).

The morning of the photoshoot greeted us with glorious sunshine and after a quick stop off at the shop for some much-needed refreshments to keep the team hydrated, we headed to Wells-Next-The-Sea.

With each photoshoot comes a car FULL of brand’s products so just looking at the two steep sets of stairs and a long walk to our rented beach hut, we couldn’t help but feel tired already…. but if there’s a will there’s a wave (and Chloe to the rescue with her beach trolly!).

We rented out two beach huts from Happy Huts that boast a selection of fully furnished, individually designed huts on the beachfront in a selection of bright colours, we went for nautical blue for our creator base, and with single-day hire available it was perfect for us!

Whilst we set up all the brand’s clothing for our creators, photographers Chloe and Michael had a walk around the area to get their creativity flowing and lighting perfect! We were also joined by Laura, who many of you may know on Instagram as dinky_in_norfolk, with her camera at the ready to kindly capture some behind-the-scenes footage which we absolutely loved! Big thank you Laura! 😊

Our creators started arriving from 10am (with suitcases in tow!) and we had our quick pre-shoot pep talk. We use this time for introductions and to answer any questions creators may have which usually helps any nervous newbies to feel more comfortable and relaxed. We pride ourselves on being inclusive, fun and friendly and this certainly reflects on each one of our days and the creators that attend.

Sun, camera, action!

With Jordanna on hand to help with branded clothing and styling (please ignore her crocs!) and Chloe to help with camera confidence and posing, it was all high tide and good vibes for the entire day complete with a beautiful picnic lunch. And it certainly wouldn’t be a Country Content Day without a glass of fizz from our drinks brand Gasm, perfectly blended gin-infused cocktails that always go down a treat!

Alan Paine

With an impressive history, the company (originally named Paines of Godalming) was first established in 1907 by William Paine, as a manufacturer of quality knitwear. With a rebrand in the 1950’s, Alan Paine took the helm and is still a firm favourite today in quality and comfort and is largely considered as one of the top British country clothing brands.

Herd & Healy

Herd & Healy is a small business, located in Kent which hand crafts beautiful products, ranging from jewellery to scrunchies, alongside selling practical, comfortable, and affordable country clothing.

Basket Basket

BasketBasket, established in October 2008, is a family-run business based in northeast Hampshire that pride themselves on their eco-friendly alternative to the plastic shopping bag. All of their baskets are handmade with natural and sustainable materials.

One of our most relaxed photoshoots with a chilled vibe and some sunbathing between shots, because girls just wanna have sun, right? A big thank you to our creators…we LOVE every single one of you!

Now time to edit the photos complete with sunny smiles and resting beach faces!
